Providence - "Vorsehung"

Gemäss Josepho (dem Ufo-Sekten-Führer) soll William eines Tages die ausserirdische Rasse anführen. Nur Mulder könne seinen Sohn vor dem wahren Schicksal "bewahren". Um das zu verhindern verlangt Josepho von Scully den Kopf von Mulder.

Der deutsche Titel handelt von den angeblich göttlichen Prophezeihungen , an die Josepho glaubt. Gemäss diesen sei William ein Wunderkind, gar der Retter der (Alien-)Zukunft.
