Lucy Lawless and Cary Elwes Guest Star on "THE X-FILES" This November (11/11-11/18/01)
A shocking government cover-up with possible ties to Agent Dana Scully's (Gillian Anderson) newborn son propels Agent John Doggett (Robert Patrick) and Agent Monica Reyes (Annabeth Gish) to boldly continue their investigation into a potential alien conspiracy with a possible link to the FBI on THE X-FILES Sundays, Nov. 11 and 18 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
In part one of the two-part season premiere, "Nothing Important Happened Today" Sunday, Nov. 11, Scully is forced to face the question of why the aliens did not take her baby.
Meanwhile, although warned off investigating further FBI connections to a possible alien conspiracy by Assistant Director Brad Follmer (guest star Cary Elwes), Doggett and Reyes move forward in their attempts to find proof that Mulder's theories and suspicions were actually correct.
Their investigation leads them to the mysterious Shannon McMahon (guest star Lucy Lawless), who holds clues to a shocking government cover-up with possible ties to Scully's baby and the FBI.
In the conclusion "Nothing Important Happened Today II" Sunday, Nov. 18, Scully's baby is showing signs of being extraordinary and questions are raised about the child's connection to a government conspiracy. Doggett searches for clues and his life is both threatened and saved by McMahon, while Reyes continues the battle back at the FBI, keeping an eye on the potentially double-dealing Follmer.
